Mechanical Analysis
Areas examined: frequencies | temperature | strength | dynamic requirements | static requirements | exponential distortions | systems in motion.
Mechanical analysis examines the system factors for the physical limitations of the system. These limitations are set by the connections and operating conditions of the system. For example:rigidity and flexibility are opposing factors. The combination of the two, and control over their influence within the system sets the operating conditions and different physical capabilities of the system.
Sometimes, what are considered simple parts which don’t come into play in the planning stage, are found to be key components of a required feature. Through analysis, their importance is revealed, so that they receive the required dedicated attention for proper planning and optimization.
